The Women in Automotive Conference is Coming up!

In recent articles, CPI has shed light on how dealers can better understand and relate to the main decision-makers in most car sales: women.

65 percent of new cars are purchased by women and more than 80 percent of car sales are at least influenced by women.

It’s a topic that can’t be side-stepped because it’s uncomfortable or unfamiliar territory, which is why it’s getting exposure from the Center for Performance Improvement.

There’s simply no question that the sales process must be different to be more female-friendly. But the benefit isn’t just for women – an improved process is just as effective for male customers as it is for the more emotion-oriented women.

With a close eye kept on the topic of women in automotive, it’s impossible to miss the presence of an authority on the subject. That is the Women In Automotive Conference. Six female automotive industry leaders founded the conference, one of which is Christy Roman. Christy says, “More than 300 professionals from across the country attended the inaugural Women in Automotive Conference in 2015, and over 400 attended each in our 2016 & 2017 events. We expect our numbers to grow at an exponential rate in our upcoming 2018 event."

Now in its fourth year, the 2018 Women in Automotive Conference is focused on “educating and empowering women and men in the automotive community on thought leadership and trends that impact employment and sales growth.”

This summer, the 2018 Women in Automotive Conference will be held in Orlando, Florida on June 24th through 26th at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. Hundreds of automotive professionals, both women, and men, will learn from automotive experts regarding sales, service, relationship techniques, and employment topics.

Ted Ings says, “Women in automotive is more than a buzzword. It’s what the landscape looks like, and it's a topic dealers need to address immediately. The Women in Automotive Conference is exactly what the industry needs right now.”
